The objective of the Club is to bring members together to play and listen to music of all kinds. Please do not hesitate to offer to perform. If you wish to discuss performing in general, or need help in preparing something unusual, you should get in touch with me, one of the concert organisers, the co-ordinators or Music Secretary, or any Committee member. The programme includes an ‘open’ concerts in which all (10-minute) contributions offered to the Music Secretary will be included until the available time is filled. Novelties are a concerto workshop, the replacement (for this year) of the opera by an oratorio, an illustrated lecture, a celebration for our longest-serving member (Leonard Whitehouse), and collaborative concerts with Procorda. Wednesday concerts are normally at 8pm in the Haldane Room and Saturday concerts, with the exception of the oratorio, at 5.30pm in the Housman Room at University College, Gower Street. Please confirm times and locations from the individual programmes.
